The Louisiana Presenters Network operates and maintains an e-mail
list serve that sends out regular updates on its activities, as well
as serving as a forum for discussion of presenting topics. This includes
regular sharing of lists of artists engaged or under consideration
for future performances, which helps create block booking possibilities
and aids in securing routing of artists through our state.

How
the list serve works
Not familiar with the list serve concept? Here's how it works: To
post a message to the entire group, a member of the group sends an
e-mail to a special address. Mail sent to that special address is
then forwarded to all members of the group. A reply can be sent to
only the original sender; or, if it is thought that the reply might
be of interest to all of the group, to the entire list. The address
for the LPN list serve is lpn@lapresenters.org. Note, however, that
you must be subscribed to the list before you can post. Also, note
that no attachments to your list serve posting emails are permitted,
and no post may exceed 50KB in size. Failure to observe those rules
may result in the loss of your privileges to post to the list serve.
